Explore Dreamtime with art, music, and storytelling and discover the rich cultural heritage of Gamilaroy Country.

Get ready for an enchanting 2-hour interactive workshop with Heartdancers, designed to spark imagination through arts and crafts, music, nature and storytelling. Kids will move between two stations, exploring the lively culture of Gamilaroy Country.

Station 1: Story Songs

Watch as Gumaroy Newman brings Aboriginal stories in the Gamilaraay language to life, captivating young hearts and minds. Throughout the workshop, dive into traditional tales, master a Gamilaraay song, and even learn to mimic the sounds of a kookaburra - all while gaining a deeper appreciation for the rich cultural traditions of the Gamilaroy people.

Station 2: Nature's Palette

After a sing-along with Garay Garay Story Songs, it's time to get crafty with Carlos Agamez! From painting tree leaves to turning nature into art, this drop-in workshop is a creative adventure where little ones can jump in anytime and let their imagination soar!

Don't miss this opportunity to learn, create and explore the rich culture of Gamilaroy Country in a fun, family-friendly setting.
