Celebrate National Reconciliation Week

Join Darling Harbour this National Reconciliation Week (NRW) from 27 May -  3 Jun for a week-long celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures!

NRW is a time for all Australians to come together, learn about our shared histories and achievements, and explore how we can contribute to a more reconciled nation.

This week is a chance to deepen your understanding of the rich tapestry of First Nations traditions, reflect on the ongoing journey towards reconciliation and celebrate the vibrant cultures that have thrived here for millennia.

This Year’s Theme: Now More Than Ever

The National Reconciliation Week theme for 2024, Now More Than Ever, is a reminder to all of us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will —and must —continue. Now more than ever, the work continues. In treaty making, in truth-telling, in understanding First Nations' history, in education, and in tackling racism.
