Dopa is a unique and fresh Japanese restaurant in Sydney, inspired by the delicious street food of Tokyo.
Tokyo is one of the best eating cities in the world. Dopa has bought their incredible street food to life right here in Darling Harbour (with an intriguing Australian twist).
Their stacked menu features delectable dons, moreish sides, hearty curries and a selection of uniquely Japanese desserts. And their name Dopa, is short for dopamine - the happy chemical that’s sure to flood your brain after your first bite!
Introducing Dopa
Dopa is unlike any other Sydney Japanese restaurant. Their menu revolves around dons, protein, veggies, seasonings and sauces generously layered atop perfectly cooked rice.
The restaurant itself is casual, perfect for a drop-in lunch, a quick catch-up with friends or even a quick after work treat. The dining experience here is fresh and a little unexpected - we’re talking comfort food prepared with quality, sustainability and ethical food production in mind.
Dopa menu highlights
Dopa is one of Darling Harbour’s best restaurants thanks to its menu of generous comfort food. Highlights include a MBS 7-9 wagyu steak pieces, served with a soft egg, soba salad and either ginger or teriyaki sauce. We also love the pork katsu don, featuring delicately fried pork atop a bed of warm rice and fluffy scrambled eggs (yum).
For dessert, try the impossibly fluffy matcha cheesecake, or the mind-blowing Lotus Shibuya Toast.
