Step up and take your leap of faith with outdoor flying trapeze classes.
Join the aerial experts at Darling Harbour this summer. This two-hour class from Sydney Trapeze School caters for all levels – from the first timer to frequent flyer.
The session begins with an introduction to the world-famous circus apparatus and a full-body warm-up. The school will share tips about the low stationary trapeze bar to get you familiar with the manoeuvres and shapes you’ll be trying to make in the air.
You’ll be fitted with a safety harness to climb a ladder to the eight-metre-high platform before taking your first flight. You’ll also have the opportunity to practice ‘flying tricks’. The session will end with students attempting to be caught by a ‘catcher’ midair – if you’re ready for the challenge.
The legends at Sydney Trapeze School have been teaching trapeze and circus skills to aspiring performers for more than 14 years.
Please note, flying trapeze classes have a minimum age restriction of 8 years.
