Food. Games. Performances. Malaysia Festival is Australia’s largest annual Malaysian cultural event, and this year, they are shaping up to bring you twice the fun and twice the excitement by holding the festival over two days!
This year the festival will be held on the 19th and 20th of August at Tumbalong Park from 10am till 5pm. The festival will proudly present the very best of Malaysian culture in these grand days of celebration.
There are exciting performances lined up, from exotic traditional dances to celebrity guest appearances. Additionally, student performers will give you a show you’ll never forget.
It is a family friendly event with interesting activities in the Cultural Village that will keep the kids entertained for a fun family day out.

Malaysia Festival is a non-profit organisation entirely run by Malaysian students across Sydney, established in 1990. The festival was quick to gain popularity, and is now a massive event at Tumbalong Park, attracting 38,000 visitors annually. This year, join on a journey through the culmination of history, tradition and culture of a nation 60 years old. Jom!
