Be enchanted by meditational music in the tranquil setting of the Chinese Garden’s Water Pavilion. The ‘guqin’, with 3000 years of history, is one of China’s oldest stringed instruments. Due to its quiet, tranquil sound it was traditionally played by literati (scholars) for self-cultivation and meditation, and performance in intimate settings. Enjoy a free 20-minute performance plus introduction.
