Chinese Garden of Friendship,
Pier Street, Darling Harbour, NSW, 2000

Celebrate Chinese New Year in Darling Harbour’s Chinese Garden of Friendship, with a vibrant array of creative events to entertain the whole family.

Let the intense, intuitive Yin energy of the Fire Rooster lead you to this hidden pearl, to usher in the New Year with three weekends of performances, demonstrations, workshops and tours.

Be enchanted by the Chinese Chamber Music Festival 2017—a sublime summer evening of melodious music from talented international and local artists, set in the seclusion and harmony of the garden.

Slow down in a tai chi class, or experience acrobatic lion dancing, said to bring you good luck and fortune. Learn the ancient art of laughing from deep down inside, or observe a traditional tea ceremony in silence. The kids will be entranced by Monkey Tales around the garden and they can get creative making rooster-inspired puppets to take home.

Let the festivities begin!
