2017 marks the twelfth year of Seven Bridges Walk and the eighth year that Cancer Council NSW has been the sole charity partner for the event. Over the past eight years the event has raised over $3.4 million for Cancer Council NSW.
The 28km walking course crosses Pyrmont Bridge in Darling Harbour, Sydney Harbour Bridge, ANZAC Bridge, Iron Cove Bridge, Gladesville Bridge, Tarban Creek Bridge and Fig Tree Bridge.
Participants can walk the full length of the course, or a portion. Seven pop-up villages will provide food and refreshment options along with entertainment to those taking on the footpath. Complimentary buses run in the reverse direction should walkers not complete the full circuit.
