IIKO Mazesoba serves a special type of broth-free ramen featuring thick, springy noodles and toppings like chilli oil, vinegar, nori and runny egg. Their original mazesoba with juicy, tender pork chashu is an absolute steal at just $14.90, but we reckon it’s worth spending an extra $1 to get the fried chicken version with Kewpie mayonnaise. Or if you’re feeling creative, experience IIKO at home and have an ingredient pack delivered for $40. It’ll feed 6 people so you’re looking at under $7 a serve.

Harry's Cafe de Wheels
Back in the late 30s, a fella called Harry was frustrated over the lack of decent late-night snacks in Woolloomooloo. Fast-forward 80-plus years to today and he’s opened a dozen casual late-night eateries around Australia, including one Harry's right here in Darling Harbour. Grab a pie or hotdog takeaway for just $5.90.

Call ahead to take away and go around lunch time when fresh bread is baked every 15 minutes.
