Hopper Kadé combines hawker style food from the streets of Colombo with modern cooking techniques.
Since opening in February 2016 at the Balmain markets to its Crown Street location, Hopper Kadé puts spotlight on Sri Lankan food in Australia.
Co-founders Ruvanie De Zoysa and Chris Goffin have been in the Sydney street food circuit for more than four years. Diners can expect hoppers, curries, sambols, spicy sides, roti wraps and kadé bowls.
Hopper Kadé red rice hoppers are made from a master batter, fermented for at least 24 hours, making a nutritious and delicious version of this Sri Lankan street food staple.
